Circuit of the Americas Diverse Fleet Needs Answered Daily with AEV 411s
Since August 2017, the 1,100-acre COTA race and entertainment facility outside Austin has been using eight AEV 411s. Currently, their fleet consists of four AEV 411 flatbeds, three pickups, and one box truck.
“They help COTA meaningfully advance our sustainability goals,” said Edgar Farrera, COTA Director of Sustainability. “On top of that, everyone is fighting over who gets to use them!”
“Our guys use the hell out of them!” said Nigel Fuentes, COTA Account Exec for Corporate Partnerships.
Each day, the COTA operations, maintenance, and repair teams are constantly utilizing the 411s throughout the large facility. Whether it’s moving parts and equipment around or catering and special events support, the box truck, pickup, or flatbed, COTA uses the 411s every day.
AEV Enjoys Successful 2018 Golf Industry Show Appearance
We recently exhibited at the 2018 Golf Industry Show (GIS) in San Antonio, TX. GIS was an excellent platform for us to introduce AEV’s all-electric fleet lineup to an audience of potential sales channel partners and golf course/resort businesses. We showcased our electric workhorse, the 411 compact light-duty truck, and the revolutionary two-passenger, three-wheeled 311 vehicle in our booth over the two-day show. This year, the annual GIS drew over 6,000 attendees from 60+ countries.
We met with dozens of Dealers, Distributors, and end-use customers at San Antonio. By the end of the GIS exhibition, we had over 46 Dealer and seven international Distributor leads. Our booth was consistently busy with dealers and attendees.
One consistent message we received was that nothing else in the show came to rear bed dimensions and payload capacity for the 411. Each configuration of the 411—flatbed, pickup, cargo box, and tilt-bed all provide sustainable solutions to campus environments like resorts, golf courses, hotels, theme parks, entertainment venues, airports, business parks, ports, state and national parks, as well as K-12 schools and universities.

We expect great things from TSN and AEV’s partnership going forward.”
