AEV Launches 311 Commuter Vehicle

AEV 311 Commuter Launches in July

The AEV 311 Commuter, the revolutionary electric three-wheeler is set to hit the streets in the third week of July 2018.

As much as the 311 is a consumer-type of vehicle, the first customers are actually deploying them for fleet applications as a neighborhood food delivery vehicle. The inline two-seat design has been modified to include a hot box in the rear to keep the food hot en route to customers. With its striking and memorable look, Murphy Adams Restaurant Group has contracted to purchase up to 120 of the AEV 311s for Mama Fu’s Asian House and Austin’s Pizza deliveries. Not only does the 311 help reduce operating costs and carbon emissions for Mama Fu’s and Austin’s Pizza, it provides 24/7 rolling branding for the restaurants with the unique design of the vehicle.

“We are so excited to see the AEV 311 take on its first role as an electric fleet solution for Mama Fu’s and Austin’s Pizza,” said Rod Keller, C.E.O. of AEV Technologies, Inc. “The 311 looks incredible with the custom graphics as they hit the streets of Austin to deliver hot food to hungry customers.”

With a top speed of up to 50 mph, the AEV 311 Commuter is an ideal solution for consumers looking for a fun, easy to use electric vehicle for commuting, neighborhood transit, and vacation properties. The versatile design also has applicability for municipalities looking for electric vehicles to perform daily tasks like parking enforcement and deliveries.
